The Pale Horse
I'm falling asleep in the cradle of death
Being embraced by the arms of doom
Caressed by the shadows of my demise
And encased in the rotting of my beautiful filth
I am being kissed by the Pale Horse
Expiration ravages at my door
Quietus brings out floods of auras
That carry with them sepulchral scents
The night calls out to my soul
That pours out of my gash, tinting the soil
The moon has bathed in its crimson hue
The earth has engulfed in its miserable tune
My eyes peer into the final lights
Of a world that was never meant for me
My mouth sucks in my end
Expelling my life, breath by breath
A single tear floods the growing paleness of my cheek
As the last flows of life dim within me
I cough out what's left of my strength
As if wanting for it to finally detach from my being
I lay on this floor with my cold to its core
Waiting for it to finally take my soul
Around me I hear screams of agony
As hands begin to pull on my body
With much effort I lift my sight
Distant footsteps echoing in the grass
Before me being a gruesome visage
Bones in a black robe that begin to laugh
Steel scintillates a threatening glow
Delivering with it that fatal blow
Aiming its origin towards my center
Landing right in front of my heartbeats
I can see myself dead on the floor
As this being caresses my jaw
Below it grasps to the gash of my wrist
And finally takes me to that place of peace
I'm falling asleep in the cradle of death
Being embraced by the arms of doom
Caressed by the shadows of my demise
And encased in the rotting of my beautiful filth
I am being kissed by the Pale Horse
