Penumbra Solitaria

Saldré a caminar
Sin más esperanza que la de un sueño moribundo,
Surcaré las miradas y corazones
Y te buscaré inútilmente entre cortinas y ventanales.

Andará hasta tardes horas
Escuchando el silbido de los fantasmas
Al cruzar el umbral hacia sus tumbas.

Escucharé el caer de las hojas marchitas,
El cantar de un ave nocturna.
Mil voces a mis oídos llegarán
En entre ellas, la tuya no se hallará.

Esperaré en penumbra solitaria
Y entre líneas y versos te buscaré,
Entre libros y canciones, allí no te encontraré.

Y volverá un día más,
En el que el sol me haga llorar
Y otra vez tras la espalda
Tu voz me llamará.
