My heart is hurting

You were playing the game well and didn’t think you would get caught
Everything that we built together, gone without a second thought
How could you do this to me, I always said you were true
I don’t understand, how I couldn’t see that you were playing me too
I loved you, you were my all
But you destroyed me and made me fall
I did everything I could to save our love
You promised me to change, asking help from up above
But it wasn’t enough it went from bad to disaster
I guess she got into your head and made you leave me faster
Words are not enough to be able to describe what I need to say
Your heartless goodbye, your cold farewell, destroying the light of my day
Now I live in darkness, I can’t see the light
I have given up; I no longer want to fight
My heart has been shredded beyond repair
Can’t I just cry away my sorrows in this saddening despair?
Has anybody felt this agonizing pain?
Or felt the sadness creeping in when you see the falling rain
Will I ever overcome this sadness?
