Bullets of emptiness

Dark days of dryness and emptiness,
only the world knows how I feel
when the wind stops dancing around me
and the noises of the night destroy my will.


Yesterday the time was longer than usual,
lightings of hearts and dreams,
lonely footsteps all around me
and the dying morning screams.


War and sadness under dark skies,
fast bullets sick of hate and power,
our freedom conditioned by the black gold,
sleeping I could survive our last hour.


What is the reason to cover your eyes
with shadowed stars and shabby stripes?
If in the deepest part of your conscience
you can still hear the explosions and the cries.


When do you decide that everyone is wrong except you?
