My dark angel

Flying under the cold of your black wings
Let not my heart soak into lachrymose
Be the moonlight above my sleep
Turn me into someone I've never been

For I seek your hand in the dark
To enter through the gates of winter
Forstall the death of my cracked heart
And have my eyes slowly turn hazel

I long you to caress my black heart
And fly away on a day of winter
To be held in the arms
Of my sweet dark angel
