    Es un canto,
    es un coro cadencioso de labios hermosos,
    con sabor a chocolate,
    atravesando el Parque Botero,
    sembrando de ilusiones y de amor este Valle.

    La muñeca de chocolate
    parada en la Plaza de Botero
    con su cara alegre en tarde caliente
    al Policía Rentería lo atrapa primero,
    su vocecilla atravesando los muros fucsia
    canta dulcemente…..

    Es el trino en sinfonía,
    cuando se han marchado los pericos y las loras,
    luciendo sus risos de sedosa lana,
    con su cara de muñeca gitana.

    Atrapando con su belleza y encanto,
    al que avanza con sus pasos,
    dulce eco acariciando la memoria del tiempo

    Con su traje satinado y rosado
    los dulces y choconos a su cuerpo va adosando,
    y la gente va pasando,
    y los mozos la van mirando,
    con su dulce encanto.

    Ya no es la cadencia chocolate,
    derritiéndose en el Parque,
    el café con leche se une al chocolate,
    y el concierto es sinfonía al dormir la tarde

    Y más adelante las latas amarillas
    besan estremeciendo
    las sobrias y oscuras,
    y los azules revolotean en el aire,
    y la muchedumbre es enjambre,
    y a lo lejos, al caer la tarde
    la sinfonía del Parque resuena
    con su dulce eco en el recuerdo

    El Policía Rentaría que hacia la compañía,
    enamorado, ya se ha marchado.
    En el Parque ha quedado
    el eco que lo ha atrapado
