    Wild cerasee bourds my walls

A deep hole lurks where the dogs have dug

    But they won’t go in

They sit and wait along the verge

    Knowing I will

But I eat beer and cake

    Cerasee bords my gate

    Woman lies dreaming on

    The

    Border

The edge of the bed is at her back

Her angels lie spooned with her

And I feel the vibe along my rib

    Rich wicked yellow-flowered

Cerasee whickers in the dark, along

The fence creaking in the breeze there

Where something smooth, shiny black, I know

    Glides between our roots

Day and night jurema preta roots pass

Beyond the pale, beneath the ragged edge

Where wild cerasee bourds my gate

    The orange pod bitter pill

Adam splits its shell and vomits

Blood red seeds among the rocks

    Against the fenced house’s walls

    Melon fingers’ twining crawl

They lead to where I stand astride

    The borded lemniscate

    Put aside

    Beer and cake
