    A veces no quiero escribir,

Poetry is not just an art; it's an emotional response to the life that surrounds us. I liked how it alluded to the sound of the voice, laughter, and the brightness of the sun.

    Hi Alde,

when I head to work, it's still dark, and after work, I only have about 30 minutes of daylight left... It feels strange, especially now that I'm older, not so much when I was younger. In Oregon, the weather can be pretty crazy this time of year. You might wake up to a thick fog blanketing the whole valley, and other times, you get the unexpected challenge of not being able to open your car door. You end up pushing against it like a bear trying to get to food inside, all because of a thin layer of ice stuck between the door and the car body. There are only a handful of days when you can bask in the full sun or even catch a few of its rays. When that happens, you feel bright and happy, beaming a smile, even if just for a little while.

Take care, and I'm sorry for getting back to you so late.

    Fidel Guerra.
