    Las estrellas resplandecen,
    el viento acaricia mi rostro,
    la luna me inunda de su fulgor,
    y el manto negro que oscurece
    nuestro día, se vuelve cómplice
    ¡de nuestros sueños, de nuestro amor!…

    ¡Eres inalcanzable para mí!…
    Y nuestras ilusiones continúan aquí,
    pero el manto mágico de nuestro
    cielo, nos une sin condición…

    La luna se vuelve mensajera
    de tus caricias sin espera
    al cubrirme de su esplendor;
    ¡las estrellas me dicen lo infinito
    e imperecedero de tu amor!

    El viento posa en mis labios
    un beso sublime en fervor,
    como sólo puede hacerlo...
    ¡El verdadero amor!

    Y el riachuelo en armonía,
    ese, ¡nos canta una canción!
    con los grillos en sintonía
    que le ponen más exaltación.

    ¡Te fuiste!… debiste hacerlo,
    ¡no había otra opción!
    pero tú estas en mi corazón,
    en cada frase, en cada sueño…
    ¡En cada ilusión!

    Las nubes forman tu rostro
    cuando al cielo volteo a ver,
    ya sueño que vuelves,
    ya sueño que escucho tu voz…

    Y aún cuando esto es ilusorio
    en verdad te digo, junto a ti estoy…
    No sé si un día volveré a verte,
    pero tu rostro y tu sonrisa…

    ¡Están tatuados en mi corazón!
